HerPrey respects the intellectual property of others and expects our users and contributors to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA").
Submitting a takedown notice
If you believe content on HerPrey infringes your copyright, send the following to our designated agent at the address below. Incomplete notices may not result in action.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed — if multiple works are at issue on one page, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the URL on HerPrey where it appears.
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.

Counter-notice
If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that we determine are repeat infringers will be terminated. We may terminate accounts at our discretion for any violation of these policies.
Misuse
Knowingly submitting a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages. Please consult counsel before submitting if you are uncertain whether your claim is valid.
